Job summary

A nonprofit organization dedicated to youth support is seeking a Family Support Practitioner. This role involves delivering TBRI® Caregiver Training and providing in-home coaching for families, requiring a Bachelor's degree in a social work-related field and two years of experience in adoption or child welfare. The ideal candidate will work evenings and weekends and travel up to 50%. Comprehensive benefits include health insurance and 30 paid days off per year.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in adoption or child welfare.
• Understanding of complex developmental trauma.
• Must have a dependable car and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home coaching for families.
• Facilitate monthly Implementation and Connection Groups.
• Document family assessment and progress.

Skills

Capacity to implement TBRI® principles

Excellent observational and assessment skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated knowledge of trauma

Education

Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
