Job summary

BETHANY HOUSE SERVICES INC is seeking a licensed social worker to join our residential family shelter as a Case Manager. You will manage a caseload of 15–20 families, perform biopsychosocial assessments, and coordinate housing, benefits, and services in a trauma-informed framework.

Responsibilities include collaboration with Housing Specialists, maintaining HMIS documentation, and providing aftercare for exited families.

Qualifications

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in good standing (Ohio)
• 2+ years of case management experience with families or youth
• Experience with housing programs and homelessness services
• Familiarity with HMIS and HUD/ESG guidelines

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload of 15–20 families in a residential shelter
• Conduct biopsychosocial and housing assessments using trauma-informed lens
• Coordinate housing supports, benefits, and landlord outreach
• Maintain HMIS/EHR documentation per HUD/JFS standards
• Provide post-shelter aftercare and community referrals
• Collaborate with Shelter Operations and Family Services teams
