Reporting to the Social Work Supervisor, the position is 35 hours per week, non-exempt, with eligibility for collaboration across ACS and partner services; evening availability is required to accommodate family schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; fields include Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology or related areas.
• Experience in child welfare is preferred.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and counseling skills are essential.
• Ability to work at least two evenings per week to accommodate families’ schedules.
• Commitment to strength-based, trauma-informed practice with youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based and on-site individual, family, and group counseling, plus short-term crisis intervention for eight designated families.
• Engage families promptly after referral; participate in ACS Child Safety Conferences when needed.
• Implement Solution-Based Casework (SBC) with assessments, action plans, documentation, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with ACS, schools, medical and mental health clinics, and other resources to support families.
