Job summary

THRIVE Center for Survivors of Torture is seeking an Executive Director to lead strategy, operations, and fundraising in Murray, Utah. The ED will work closely with the Board, guide senior leadership, ensure financial integrity, and maintain trauma-informed, culturally responsive programs for survivors of torture.

The role requires strong governance, donor relations, and program oversight to advance THRIVE’s mission and public presence in the community.

Qualifications

• Nonprofit leadership or executive management experience.
• Strong fundraising, budgeting, and donor relations skills.
• Experience guiding trauma-informed or culturally responsive programs.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead THRIVE’s strategic plan and annual goals.
• Partner with the Board on governance and fundraising.
• Oversee finances, budgeting, and compliance.
• Supervise senior leadership and program delivery.
• Represent THRIVE publicly and with partners.
• Ensure trauma-informed services and accessibility.
