Two Rivers Supervisory Union’s Chester-Andover Elementary School in Chester, Vermont, seeks a dynamic Special Educator for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time role at Chester-Andover Elementary School, working five days a week with a small multidisciplinary team to support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

• Must hold or be eligible for Vermont special education certification.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Fingerprint-based background check required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual and small group instruction for identified students.
• Maintain records on progress of students to identify difficulties, track progress and justify treatment.
• Possess a working knowledge of Special Education Law, writing Individualized Plans, adapting curriculum, and inclusionary practices.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, special educators, related service providers and families to develop and implement individual or group programs.
