Job summary

Two Rivers Supervisory Union is seeking a Long-Term Substitute 6th Grade Teacher at Chester-Andover Elementary School in Chester, Vermont. This full-time, Monday–Friday role starts January 4, 2027, with an expected end in early April 2027.

You will support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth, maintain routines, and collaborate with staff and families to sustain a positive classroom community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience with elementary-aged children is required.
• VT Elementary endorsement or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction.
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students’ social-emotional development and behavior.
• Follow curriculum, lesson plans, and routines.
• Assess student progress and maintain records.
