University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking a Lecturer in Trauma-Informed Education in the College of Education. This full-time, on-campus, nine-month, non-tenure-track position will focus on teaching equity-centered, trauma-informed education in graduate and undergraduate programs.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in education or related field and experience delivering online courses, with preferred research in trauma-informed education and diverse educational settings.

Qualifications

• PhD in education or related field required before start.
• Experience using technology for instructional delivery, including online course delivery, is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach master’s level courses related to equity-centered, trauma-informed education.
• Contribute to the development of undergraduate programs in Trauma-Informed Education.
• Teach additional courses in Curriculum and Instruction based on areas of expertise.
• Provide service at state and local levels related to trauma-informed education.
