Job summary

Wheeler Clinic is seeking an Early Childhood Clinician to deliver intensive, home-based prevention and intervention for children from birth to five years and their families. The role includes assessment, family-driven planning, care coordination, and parent-child psychotherapy in accordance with program standards.

The position requires a Master’s degree (or PhD in Psychology) and licensure eligibility; 3 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field such as MFT, Counseling, Social Work or a related license-eligible field; doctoral degree in Psychology is acceptable.
• 3 years of experience in a therapeutic capacity with young children birth to five and families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, home-based prevention and intervention for children birth to five and their families.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop family-driven treatment plans.
• Coordinate care connecting families with community services; document clinical formulations and treatment plans.
• Triage emergencies and adhere to program safety protocols; work under supervision of Clinical Director/Program Manager.
• Maintain documentation across clinical data systems for accountability.
• Participate in community meetings, trainings, and consultations as needed.
