Wheeler Clinic in New Britain, CT, seeks a Program Manager to oversee the therapeutic child care program and provide clinical supervision and administrative oversight. The role supports children aged 3-5 and their families with trauma-informed, relationship-based interventions in an early childhood classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or another related clinical field with 3 years of experience working with young children.
• Licensed by CT as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
• Eligible to attain CT-AIMH Infant Mental Health Endorsement level III (IMH-E III).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and administrative oversight of the program.
• Deliver child and family counseling and support in an early childhood setting.
• Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to support social-emotional development.
• Conduct assessments and develop trauma-informed, relational treatment plans.
• Facilitate communication with caregivers and providers to support child and family needs.
• Complete performance evaluations for supervised clinical staff.
• Identify and mitigate risk factors in the milieu and report suspected abuse/neglect.
• Provide reflective supervision to classroom clinical and educational staff.
