Job summary

San Diego Organizing Project is seeking a Residential Services Manager to oversee the daily operations of its domestic violence emergency shelters. This role involves leading staff, managing shelter programs, and ensuring compliance with agency policies. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience.

The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain client confidentiality. The role may also involve working evening and weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, criminal justice, or public health.
• Three years of experience with intimate partner violence or crisis intervention.
• Bilingual/multilingual fluency in one or more languages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of domestic violence emergency shelters.
• Lead, train, supervise, and support shelter staff.
