Center for Community Solutions (CCS) in San Diego seeks a Residential Services Manager to oversee daily operations of emergency shelters in East and North County. The role leads residential staff, supports client assessment and advocacy, and ensures trauma-informed service delivery.

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Housing and Advocacy Services Director, the Residential Services Manager oversees the daily operations and service delivery of the North and East County domestic violence emergency shelters, Hidden Valley House and Project Safe House. This position provides leadership and supervision to residential staff, supports client assessment and advocacy services, and helps ensure implementation of trauma-informed and best-practice service standards. The Residential Services Manager coordinates staffing and program operations while maintaining compliance with agency policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements, and fosters collaborative relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
Minimum three (3) years of direct services experience with intimate partner violence, sexual assault, housing programs, child abuse issues, family violence intervention, and/or crisis intervention.
This job operates in-person in a communal housing facility. Must maintain personal cell phone for work-related purposes. Ability to work in intimate partner violence (IPV), sexual assault (SA), and stalking fields. Working conditions may include possible exposure to communicable diseases related to those typically found in communal housing. This position is classified as critical and essential under Public Health Authority. Hybrid-model eligible after demonstrated operational proficiency; schedule to be determined in coordination and approval by supervisor.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to carry up to 50lbs.
Travel between East and North County shelter sites (approximately 50% within San Diego County). Must have reliable transportation available for work-related purposes.
Generally, 8:30am to 5:30pm with some night and weekends hours. Must be available to attend required training, team meetings and provide client services, as needed.
