Riverside is seeking a Crisis Intervention Specialist to join the Community Behavioral Health Center on the 2nd shift. The CIS provides trauma-informed crisis intervention, de-escalation, and a therapeutic presence to support safety and calm during emergencies.

Responsibilities include assisting with safety drills, monitoring the facility, and responding to medical or psychiatric emergencies using established protocols.

Formación

• Trauma-informed crisis intervention and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to monitor facility safety and respond to emergencies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide crisis intervention and calming presence for persons served, staff, and families.
• Assist leadership with safety drills and ensure required safety equipment is maintained.
• Respond to medical or psychiatric emergencies using established protocols (codes, naloxone, CPR/First Aid).
• Support transportation to CBHC and CCS sites as needed.
