Job summary

The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a multi-discipline team delivering trauma-sensitive crisis care. The role includes nursing assessments, planning, interventions, education, and medication administration in accordance with state law.

The position is full-time with four 10-hour shifts; evenings and nights are available. Annual salary ranges from $50,500 to $60,000 plus holiday, shift differential and benefits; state employee

Qualifications

• LPN license in good standing with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
• Two years of practical nursing experience for LPN III/ENLC endorsement requirements.
• Ability to perform nursing assessments, planning, interventions and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct or indirect professional nursing services for crisis care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by an authorized clinician.
• Conduct nursing assessments, planning, evaluation and health education.
