Waterford Country School is seeking a licensed clinician to provide trauma-informed therapy and supervise case management for residents in the STTAR program in Oakdale, CT. You will conduct assessments, collaborate with families and DCF, and help coordinate discharge planning.

The role requires a Master’s level clinical licensure (LMSW/LMFT-A or LPC-A or independent) and experience delivering individual, group, and family therapy within a residential setting.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s level licensure as LMSW, LMFT-A, LPC-A or Independent (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) required.
• Licensed in good standing or eligible to obtain licensure in Connecticut.
• Experience providing trauma-informed individual, group, and family therapy preferred.

Aufgaben

• Ensure residents' emotional, medical, social, legal, developmental, and educational needs are met through direct services and supervision of case management tasks.
• Provide trauma-informed therapy and discharge planning coordination for STTAR program residents.
• Complete clinical interviews within 24 business hours of admission and conduct standardized assessments.
• Collaborate with families and DCF social workers for discharge planning and education continuity.
• Develop and update resident treatment plans within established timelines and procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical files with progress notes and documentation.
• Deliver crisis management, risk assessment, and life skills development.
• Participate in staff training and contribute to program development.
