Job summary

The Bridge Family Center is seeking a Residential STTAR Home Therapist to join its West Hartford team. You will provide individual, group and family therapy for adolescent females in DCF care, under supervision of the STTAR program director, with clinical oversight when needed.

The position emphasizes collaboration with staff, families, and community partners, overseeing case management, and delivering supervision for residential staff in a non-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree and licensure as LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC required; clinical licensure preferred (LCSW/LMFT/LPC).
• Experience with youths and families, preferably in residential settings; strong communication and record-keeping.
• Supervisory experience and cultural sensitivity; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and family therapy as part of treatment.
• Monitor all aspects of case management including goals, assessments, medical care, transportation, and family involvement.
• Collaborate with STTAR Program Director, Residential Management, and DCF representatives on admissions.
• Provide clinical supervision for residential staff and participate in in-service trainings.
• Attend STTAR staff and treatment plan meetings; participate in 24-hour on-call rotation.
