Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers in Walpole, MA is seeking a Clinician to provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive therapy in a trauma-informed intensive group home under the Clinical Coordinator. You will deliver play/expressive therapy, group therapy and family therapy to youth and their families.

Responsibilities include case management, assessments, treatment planning, collaboration with families and providers, documentation, staff training, and crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, mental health or related discipline is required.
• Residential program experience preferred; experience with adolescents required.
• Experience with youth with cognitive delays or Autism is a plus.
• Excellent cultural awareness and sensitivity is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services and liaison with collateral agencies.
• Utilize treatment modalities including play/expressive therapy, group therapy and family therapy.
• Perform initial assessment and develop treatment plans with clients and families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and communicate with supervisors.
• Provide on-call coverage and crisis intervention as needed.
