Job summary

Directions for Living is seeking a Clinician for the First Five program in Largo, FL. The role focuses on relationship-building with families and early learning center staff, performing center and home observations, and determining when behavioral intervention plans are needed.

The Clinician will develop trauma-informed behavior analyses, coping strategies, and home/school plans, working closely with the team to ensure effective implementation and support for children and families.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Social Work or above from an accredited university.
Active Florida licenses (or intern) such as Licensed Psychologist, BCBA, LCSW, LMHC, School Psychologist or LMFT, with two years of relevant early childhood experience.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical consultation in the First Five program focusing on relationship development with families and staff.
Assess and determine needs for behavioral intervention plans in collaboration with staff, families, and classroom consultants.
Develop individual behavior plans and social skill protocols through home and school observations.
Collaborate with Behavior Specialist and SME to train staff and implement intervention plans.
