Job summary

Directions for Living in Largo, FL is seeking a Classroom Consultant for the First Five program. This professional role provides clinical consultation to support trauma-informed practices in early learning centers, focusing on relationship building with staff and ongoing observations.

The Classroom Consultant will lead trainings, support 1:1 interventions, assist with the IDT process, and collaborate with a SME and the Director to ensure services align with family needs and center goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited university.
• At least 2 years of experience with children aged 0–5.
• Experience with behavior assessment/modification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical consultation in the First Five program.
• Develop relationships with early learning center staff and conduct observations.
• Lead staff trainings and provide on-site technical support.
• Support 1:1 intervention planning and family services as needed.
• Collaborate with SME and Director to deliver trauma-informed care in classrooms.
