Job summary

forgirlslikeme is seeking a licensed clinical professional to provide individual and group mental health counseling across our Illinois programs. This role emphasizes a trauma‑informed, client‑centered approach and crisis response within the Crisis Center.

You will develop and update individualized treatment plans, maintain confidential records in line with HIPAA and Illinois law, and coordinate with Housing Case Managers to align clinical and housing goals for shared clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related clinical field.
• Active Illinois clinical license (LCSW, LCPC, or equivalent) or license-eligible.
• Experience with trauma-informed care preferred.
• CADC is a plus for substance use-related work.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group mental health counseling to clients across FGLM's programs.
• Conduct clinical assessments and respond to crisis situations as part of the Crisis Center function.
• Develop and regularly update individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain confidential clinical records in full compliance with HIPAA, 740 ILCS 110, and applicable Illinois confidentiality law.
• Coordinate with Housing Case Managers and other FGLM staff on shared clients, within confidentiality requirements, so clinical and housing goals support one another.
