Job summary

South Coast Community Services is seeking clinicians to provide comprehensive mental health services and develop treatment plans for diverse client populations in California.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a relevant field and 1+ years of clinical experience with diagnostic skills, group/family therapy, and report writing. Licensure or registration with CA BBS or Board of Psychology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.
• 1+ years’ experience in report writing, assessment/diagnostic skills, group and family therapy skills.
• Licensure/registration with CA BBS or Board of Psychology preferred; active registration acceptable if not licensed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a trauma-informed approach when working with children and families.
• Provide individual and/or family therapy; formulate diagnoses and complete assessments and treatment plans.
• Apply up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based interventions and methodologies.
• Administer measures such as GAD-7 and PHQ-9 and use results to inform treatment.
• Use Whole Person Care model when planning treatment to maximize client empowerment.
• Comply with HIPAA and SCCS confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with outside agencies to meet treatment goals and court orders.
• Participate in required meetings and work with a multidisciplinary team.
