Job summary

New Destiny Housing Corporation, a leading provider of supportive housing for domestic violence survivors, seeks a Mental Health Services professional to develop trauma-informed interventions and lead family-driven supports. The role involves collaboration with staff and partners to foster independence and stability.

Responsibilities include case management, crisis intervention, and staff training, with bilingual abilities considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, or related human services.
• LMSW/LCSW and SIFI certification is a plus.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a multi-faceted workload with flexibility and collaboration.
• Firm understanding of racial inequity, strengths-based and family-driven work.
• Experience with trauma-informed clinical community and home-based services including crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and collaborate on care plans, crisis intervention, and program implementation with clients, staff, and partners.
• Develop a network of mental health resources in service areas.
• Maintain complete case management records, data collection, and documentation in the electronic database.
• Support facilitation of workshops and presentations on mental health for staff development.
• Participate in team meetings, supervisions, and case conferences.
• Serve as Field Instructors for MSW candidates.
• Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Mental Health Services.
