Job summary

The Refuge – A Healing Place in Florida is seeking a Clinical Program Manager to lead the clinical program, partnering with the Clinical Services Director and program leaders. The role requires trauma‑informed care expertise, licensure, and strong collaboration with medical staff and support teams.

You will oversee operations, budgeting, staffing, treatment planning, and compliance, while guiding care quality and program development in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Fully licensed LMHC, LCSW or LMFT.
• Experience with eating disorders, trauma‑informed care, addiction treatment, or residential settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, client‑centered care.
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral or mental health is required.
• Master's degree required by state for licensed clinicians.
• Four or more years’ experience with the facility population.
• One or more years’ supervisory experience required.
• Licensed counselor/therapist, as required by the state and area of clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain administrative and clinical operations that provide quality care and outcomes for the patients.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of program goals, objectives, personnel, resources and equipment; implement objectives and measures.
• Oversee the program's budget and policies; direct counselors and clinical staff involved in service delivery.
• Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient operations; coordinate care delivery, workflow; oversee scheduling, registration, discharge and billing.
• Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication.
• Responsible for an assigned caseload if applicable to the program.
• Monitor staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain charts/records.
• Serve as liaison with other staff on clinical issues, regulations and standards.
• Assist in developing operating policies and procedures to meet regulations and safety standards.
• Provide outreach services in area of clinical specialty, as needed.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers; address complaints.
