Job summary

North Slope Borough seeks a Children & Youth Services Program Manager to oversee the therapeutic program for children and youth aged 0-18 in residential care. You will lead clinical teams, ensure quality of care, and meet federal/state grant requirements within the Health Department.

Responsibilities include program development, staff supervision, and ensuring accurate documentation and billing, while maintaining HIPAA and 42 CFR compliance and fostering trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Social Sciences or related field.
• Current licensed Practitioner in Alaska or ability to become licensed within 180 days (psychology, social work LMSW/LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
• Two years of work experience in a residential facility or serving children in residential care.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Background check by Alaska DPS; drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and evaluate CYS program goals, policies and procedures.
• Monitor activities to ensure compliance with administrative rules and regulations.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and coaching to all CYS staff and personnel.
• Coordinate training, development, and performance evaluations; manage billing and documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA/42 CFR compliance; promote trauma-informed care.
