Job summary

Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) seeks a Behavioral Health Worker to support treatment teams in a fast-paced setting, addressing trauma-related needs for children aged 2 1/2 to 5 and their families. The role emphasizes collaborative care, crisis intervention, and developmentally appropriate activities within a structured milieu.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least one year of direct care experience with children/adolescents, or a degree plus one

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral/mental health services or related field.
• Minimum of one year direct care experience with children/adolescents or a Bachelor’s degree plus one year full-time paid direct care experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement established curriculum and treatment plans within the Therapeutic Nursery.
• Collaborate with clinicians and psychiatrist regarding treatment plans for individual children.
• Write daily progress notes; complete CBCLs on each child as scheduled.
• Assist in facilitating activities of undergraduate interns and volunteers.
• Maintain group room and other play areas to provide a safe and therapeutic environment.
