Job summary

Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Part Time Behavioral Health Worker to support a trauma-informed team serving children ages 2 1/2 through 5 and their families. The role emphasizes crisis-responsive care within a structured Therapeutic Nursery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral/mental health services or related field.
• Minimum 1 year direct care experience with children/adolescents.
• Or a Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year verified direct care experience with children/adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Implement established curriculum and treatment plans within the Therapeutic Nursery.
• Collaborate with clinicians and psychiatrist regarding treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Implement developmentally based activity plans for the group; complete weekly plan and submit to TN Director.
• Participate in regular program planning meetings with Behavioral Health Worker.
• Meet weekly with treatment team to review progress and participate in planning meetings.
• Write daily progress notes; complete CBCLs as scheduled.
• Assist in supervising interns and volunteers; assess TSS Trainees.
• Maintain group room and play areas to provide a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Attend in-service and training meetings.
• Assume other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
