Job summary

Texoma Community Center in Gainesville, TX is seeking a Child/Adolescent Mental Health Case Manager to provide case management services and rehabilitation skills training for youth with emotional disturbance or mental illness. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, QMHP-CS eligibility, and experience in human services; knowledge of trauma-informed care and Microsoft Office is preferred.

A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Education, Criminal Justice, or Counseling.
• Must qualify for QMHP-CS.
• Two (2) years’ Human Services experience preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or addiction issues desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management services and rehabilitation skills training as outlined in the Texas Administration Code for children and adolescents.
• Advocacy, crisis services, individual and group skills training, and other tasks as assigned by program managers.
• Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care.
