Andrews Center in Texas is hiring for a Full-Time behavioral health case manager serving children and adolescents. A bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field is required, and experience with seriously emotionally disturbed youth is preferred.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, risk assessment and collaboration with families and service partners.You will complete Uniform Assessments and Wraparound Plans, coordinate services, monitor progress, and advocate for consumer

Responsabilités

• Provide child and adolescent mental health case management and rehab services, including assessment and service plan development.
• Coordinate services, monitor advocacy, crisis services, brief interventions and aftercare.
• Complete Uniform Assessments and wraparound plans, develop recovery plans, and monitor case status.
• Work with consumers, family, and collaborative providers (schools, CPS, probation) to reduce risk of out-of-home placement and hospitalization.
• Provide services in the consumer's natural environment, community settings or offices.

Bachelor's degree with major specialization in behavioral sciencesor related field. Experience with seriously emotionally disturbedchildren and adolescents preferred. Basic computer skills required.

Provides services to children and adolescents with MHdiagnoses. Training will address problems such as risk of harm, crisisintervention and resolution, substance abuse, family/relationship difficulties,limited community involvement, limited understanding of illness, medicationnon-compliance and limited coping skills. Works with consumers, family andcollaborative providers (schools, CPS, probation) to reduce the risk ofout-of-home placement and hospitalization. Helps consumer and family to modifyattitudes and patterns of behavior by increasing coping, community living andparenting skills. Refers consumers to community resources and otherorganizations. Completes Uniform Assessments and Wraparound Plans (whereappropriate), develops and reviews recovery plans, performs follow-up todetermine quantity and quality of service provided for consumer, and monitorsstatus of consumer's case.

Provides Child and Adolescent Mental Health Case Management andRehab Services. These services include assessment, service plandevelopment, coordinating services, monitoring, advocacy, Crisis Services,Brief Intervention, Aftercare, skills training, parent skills training andpatient and family education. Services are provided to consumers with moderateto high intensity needs. Caseload size and intensity will vary. Services willbe provided in the consumer's natural environment, community and/or in the officesetting

Full-Time

This position will be in Quitman ISD 3 days a week and Mineola 2 days.
