Job summary

Central Counties Services in Temple, Texas, is seeking a qualified caseworker to perform journey-level duties and support clients and families in obtaining rehabilitative services. The role entails trauma-informed care, interviewing, and strong communication as core competencies.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, coordinating with agencies, and facilitating admission, discharge, or furlough processes under supervision. Regular driving within the catchment area is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major course work in a field relevant to the assignment.
• Experience in a field relating to the agency program.
• Education and experience may not be substituted for one another.

Responsibilities

• Interviews clients, families, law enforcement officials, schools, and health and social welfare institutions to obtain client background information.
• Identifies the psychosocial, economic, and physical needs of clients.
• Assesses clients’ support systems and available community resources, schools, and facilities.
• Provides casework services in the process of client admission, discharge, or furlough.
