Job summary

Rainbow Services in Los Angeles, CA is looking for a dedicated Case Manager to support domestic violence survivors and their children. You will conduct intake assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, advocacy, and referrals to relevant services.

Responsibilities include developing individualized service plans, coordinating with social services, documenting case information, and providing court accompaniment as needed. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

  • BSW/BA preferred with 2 years related experience.
  • Bilingual in English/ASL or English/Spanish preferred.
  • Knowledge of DPSS, DCFS and other public systems desirable.
  • Interest in social justice and ending intimate partner violence.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments and re-assessments.
  • Collaborate with participants to create service and safety plans.
  • Advocate on participants’ behalf with social service and government agencies.
  • Make appropriate referrals and provide follow-up as needed.
  • Facilitate weekly domestic violence survivor support groups.
  • Document services and case information timely and accurately.
  • Provide court accompaniment, as needed.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and supervision meetings.
  • Conduct general presentations on Rainbow Services to community partners.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
