Zusammenfassung

The Providencia Group is seeking a CARE Specialist to conduct inbound and outbound contact with unaccompanied children and sponsors, performing standardized safety and wellbeing screenings in accordance with program protocol.

You will document findings, assess risk indicators, assign preliminary risk tiers, and coordinate follow-up or home visits while maintaining confidentiality and delivering compassionate, trauma-informed support in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment in El Paso, TX.

Qualifikationen

• Possess an associate degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college (a high school diploma with extra experience may be substituted).
• At least two years of documented experience in child welfare, case management, call center operations, or working with vulnerable populations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience with safety or well-being screenings, welfare checks, or crisis assessments (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Receive and review assigned cases; contact sponsors to complete required screening assessments.
• Conduct sensitive conversations using a trauma-informed, culturally humble approach.
• Conduct outbound calls with unaccompanied children (UACs) and sponsors to assess wellbeing across key domains; update case information in the system.
• Respond to inbound communications and route inquiries appropriately.
• Coordinate and confirm home visits with sponsors and provide necessary information to the Command Center.
• Identify risk indicators, assign preliminary risk tiers; escalate as needed.
• Maintain confidential case records and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
