Job summary

Indiana Treatment Centers – Columbus is seeking a Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy in a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented setting. This role emphasizes client safety, stabilization, and long-term recovery outcomes within a multidisciplinary team.

The position includes diagnostic assessments, treatment planning updates, care coordination, and high-quality documentation aligned with state, federal, and payer standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (SW, counseling, psychology, MFT) required.
• Willingness to obtain provisional state license (LMHC-A, LMFT-A, LCAC-A) required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk screenings in accordance with DSM-5 and state guidelines.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans aligned with ASAM criteria and client needs.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, etc.).
• Respond to crises in accordance with facility policy, ensuring safety and clinical integrity.

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
