Job summary

AbsoluteCare is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to join our integrated care team in providing short-term, individualized therapy for members with behavioral health needs. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing to improve health outcomes.

The BHC works within an interdisciplinary team including primary care, nurses, social workers, psychiatrists, pharmacy, and community health workers, ensuring coordinated, person-centered care and timely

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician with 3+ years in behavioral health.
• Licenses such as LCSW-C or LCPC preferred.
• Telehealth experience is beneficial.
• Proficient in common office software and data/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group behavioral health therapy.
• Perform crisis intervention and de-escalation.
• Serve as SME for behavioral health within the ICT.
• Apply trauma-informed care, harm-reduction and motivational interviewing.
• Coordinate with PCPs, psychiatrists and care managers.
• Document patient care in electronic health records within 1 business day.
• Develop treatment plans for chronic mental illness.
• Promote adherence and attendance to appointments.
• Contribute to group therapy curriculum and aftercare planning.
