Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Arts required upon hire or Mental Health Tech certificate from either the American Medical Association or National Career Certifiation Board
• Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provides direct behavioral support and supportive services to patients with disruptions in function due to mental illness or substance abuse
• Helps manage the therapeutic milieu and develops skills across environmental, financial, social, occupational, spiritual, intellectual and emotional wellbeing
• Collaborates with a team of clinical professionals to implement individualized care plans
• Maintains a trauma-informed, safe environment and supports supervision of patients requiring restraints or seclusion when needed
• Engages in multicultural communication and participates in safety, quality assurance and training programs
