DCCCA in Lawrence, KS seeks a Part-Time Behavioral Interventionist to provide one-on-one services to clients in the agency's behavioral program, following state regulations, contracts, COA standards, and internal policies.

You will maintain open communication with caregivers, supervise clients, help with daily living skills, document shifts within 24 hours, and participate in regular team meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Requires high school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have at least one year of experience working with youth with elevated behavioral needs.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks, fingerprinting and drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-on-one services following agency policies.
• Maintain communication with caregivers and ensure service efficacy.
• Provide direct supervision to client at all times.
• Assist clients with daily responsibilities and living skills.
• Provide direction, coaching, and approved intervention strategies.
• Engage with client using trauma-informed brain-stimulating activities.
• Complete shift documentation within 24 hours of a shift.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and professional trainings.
• Meet with client’s professional team and attend court hearings when requested.
• Participate in monthly supportive supervision.
• Requires evening and weekend availability.
