Job summary

DCCCA is seeking a Part-Time Behavioral Interventionist to provide direct, one-on-one support to youth enrolled in the Behavioral Interventionist program in Mission, KS. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and to follow agency, contracts, state regulations, and COA standards.

You will maintain open communication with caregivers, supervise clients during activities, and document shift outcomes within 24 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Requires high school diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience working with youth with elevated behavioral needs.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provides one-on-one services to clients in Behavioral Interventionist program.
• Maintains communication with caregivers to ensure service efficacy.
• Supervises clients at all times and assists with daily responsibilities.
• Delivers intervention strategies and trauma-informed activities.
• Completes shift documentation within 24 hours of shift.
• Attends staff meetings and collaborates with the professional team.
