A Safe Place in Lake County, Illinois, seeks a Behavioral Health Therapist II to provide trauma-informed assessments, treatment planning, therapy, crisis intervention, and case coordination for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.

Your role includes maintaining a caseload of 20–25 clients, leading some group sessions, and collaborating with internal teams. In-person and telehealth options available, with travel to multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's in a clinically related behavioral health field and QMHP in Illinois.
• Provisional LPC or LSW licensure.
• 1+ years of post-graduate experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Travel to Lake County sites (Grayslake, Round Lake Beach, Zion).
• Ability to travel and lift 25-50 pounds as needed.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and intakes, including applicable standardized tools.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy to survivors using trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans with client collaboration.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support recovery and stability.
• Perform ongoing risk assessments, crisis intervention, and safety planning.
