Job summary

WestCare Foundation seeks a qualified mental health professional to provide comprehensive assessment, evaluation and psychotherapy services for clients with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. The role emphasizes intake assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based modalities including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety.

The position requires licensure or certification in Florida (CAP/MCAP preferred; LCSW/LMHC/LMFT preferred), 2–3

Qualifications

• CAP/MCAP certification preferred
• Licensure as LCSW/LMHC/LMFT in good standing preferred
• Two–Three years of related work experience in Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse
• Bilingual abilities preferred
• Master’s degree in a related field required

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments/biopsychosocial evaluations
• Develop and maintain written treatment plans with client participation
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as required
• Complete accurate daily progress notes and treatment documentation
• Participate in case conferences and mandated trainings
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and ethics standards
• Abide by WestCare mission and CCISC model principles

Skills

CAP/MCAP Certification

LCSW/LMHC/LMFT License

Bilingual (preferred)

Education

Master's degree in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or related field
