Comprehensive Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate to support clients in our 24-hour inpatient and residential facilities in Yakima, WA. The role emphasizes supportive counseling, skill-building, and trauma-informed care within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include group sessions, patient supervision, and coordination with the care team to promote stabilization and transition to outpatient treatment. Evening and overnight shifts offer differential pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance.
• Post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Developing and conducting social & leisure activities for clients.
• Facilitating educational, behavioral health, or skill-building groups.
• Coaching clients in practical living skills such as nutrition and budgeting.
• Accompanying clients to appointments, community events, and outings.
• Providing daily oversight of medication self-administration and monitoring symptoms and medication response.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment, including housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Completing required documentation reflecting activities, goals, and progress; ensuring PPE use when appropriate.
