Job summary

Arrow-Child- is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to deliver family-centered behavioral health services to children in home, community, and program settings. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, case management, and adherence to treatment plans in line with state and agency requirements.

Requirements include a bachelor's in a related field and at least 1 year of youth experience; a master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, mental health, or related field with at least 1 year of youth experience.
  • Master's degree preferred for advanced practice and supervision.
  • Must operate a motor vehicle as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized, trauma-informed services to clients and families in home, community, and approved settings.
  • Provide Mental Health Targeted Case Management through coordination, referral, linkage, monitoring, and advocacy.
  • Deliver authorized Mental Health Rehabilitative Services per treatment plan and curricula.
  • Collaborate with clients, caregivers, treatment teams, and providers to support goals and outcomes.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record per requirements.
  • Participate in supervision, training, meetings, and professional development.
