Job summary

Person Driven Clinical Solutions is seeking a compassionate Behavior Support Specialist to provide person-centered behavioral support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across settings.

The BSS will conduct assessments, develop behavior support plans (BSPs), collect and analyze data, train staff, and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to promote independence and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field is required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluation / detailed assessment of needs for BSP or RPP.
• Collect and evaluate behavioral data.
• Develop BSP/RPP with client, family and team.
• Conduct functional assessments of presenting issues (e.g., aggression, self-injury).
• Train and mentor staff and families on BSP/RPP.
• Monitor implementation and update data tracking tools.
• Ensure human rights protection and participate in HRT/ISP meetings.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a human services field
