Job summary

Children & Family Advocacy Center seeks an Advocate – Stabilization Phase to provide intensive advocacy and case management for women, children, and families requiring ongoing support. You will help navigate barriers to safety, coordinate services, and support families in residential programs to build long-term stability.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, experience with trauma-informed care, and strong communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience in child advocacy, victim services, or related social services preferred.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and community resources.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and respond effectively in a crisis.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Direct trauma-informed advocacy, emotional support, crisis intervention, and problem-solving for families.
  • Develop individualized stabilization plans addressing safety, housing, healthcare, counseling, and other goals.
  • Support residential program participants with goal planning and transition coordination.
  • Coordinate services with internal programs and community partners for coordinated care.
  • Maintain confidential documentation of client contacts, plans, referrals, and progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and on-call rotations to respond to crises.
