Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services seeks an Advocate to provide trauma-informed advocacy and case management for survivors. You will respond to crises, develop safety plans, document progress, and coordinate services aligning with program standards.

The role requires after-hours availability, an on-call rotation, and significant regional travel using a personal vehicle. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or sociology and 2–3 years of case

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or closely related field.
  • 2-3 years case management and/or crisis intervention experience.
  • Experience with victims of human trafficking, child abuse, neglect, or youth homelessness/addiction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma-informed, relational advocacy and case management to survivors.
  • Respond to immediate crises and perform safety planning.
  • Document cases and coordinate ongoing services per program and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and after-hours/weekend crisis coverage.
  • Travel regionally, assist with transportation, and maintain crisis response timelines.
