Extant Healthcare is seeking a General Surgeon with trauma experience to join our surgical team at Common Spirit Holy Cross Hospital. The position offers a mix of trauma and general surgery, home call (24-hour) and robust APP support in a community hospital setting with growth opportunities for an elective practice.

Ideal candidates hold board certification in General Surgery, ATLS certification, and an unrestricted Utah medical license.

Qualifications

• Board certification in General Surgery is required.
• ATLS certification is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
• Current, unrestricted medical license in Utah is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform emergency surgical procedures for trauma patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in trauma call rotation.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical techniques and trauma care advancements.
