Job summary

Extant Healthcare, LLC is seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon with trauma experience to join our expanding surgical team at Common Spirit Holy Cross Hospital. This role offers a mix of trauma and general surgery with home call (24-hour) and strong APP support in a community hospital setting.

There is ample opportunity to build an elective practice as well, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide comprehensive perioperative care while maintaining the highest standards of

Qualifications

• Board-certified in General Surgery with trauma experience.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Utah.
• ATLS certification and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy setting.
• Excellent collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency surgical procedures for trauma patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in trauma call rotation.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical techniques and advancements in trauma care.
