Job summary

Grady Health System, based in Atlanta, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care, ensure patient safety, and educate patients and families. The RN coordinates care across settings and among caregivers, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree in nursing, Georgia license, 2 years in Emergency/Trauma, and ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required (BSN preferred).
• Active & Clear Georgia nursing license or Multistate nursing license.
• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills.
• Experience managing high-acuity, fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and service excellence.
• 2 years of Emergency / Trauma nursing experience.
• American Heart Association (ACLS, BLS, PALS) certification; TNCC.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive nursing care.
• Coordinate care across settings and among caregivers.
• Educate patients and families about healthy practices and treatments.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan and deliver care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrate leadership, problem solving, and teamwork in care delivery.
