Job summary

MetroHealth System in Cleveland seeks a Trauma and Emergency General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver direct patient care in collaboration with trauma and general surgery teams, manage pre- and post-operative care, and participate in ATLS-aligned resuscitations.

The role includes rotating to Fisher Titus in Norwalk, performing bedside procedures, round on the ICU and ED consults, and contributing to multidisciplinary care while meeting credentialing and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited masters degree program in PA, AGACNP, or ACNP.
• National certification through NCCPA, ANCC, or AACN.
• Active Ohio PA license and APRN licensure; DEA eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with trauma/EGS attendings, general surgery residents, and APPs to complete daily rounds on the trauma and surgical floors and in the ICU.
• Respond to ED consults for EGS, collecting data and interpreting labs/imaging to develop and document assessments and care plans.
• Perform bedside procedures for surgical and non-surgical patients.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop disposition plans and ensure timely documentation and care.
• Rotate to Fisher Titus in Norwalk to provide consistent, high-quality care across sites.
