Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Trauma Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree
• Trauma Nursing Core Course, or TNCC Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assessing and developing trauma competencies, learning needs, and education plans for nurses, physicians, and staff across all areas involved in trauma care
• Designing and delivering evidence-based education, orientation, and preceptorship programs with measurable outcomes and clear evaluation methods
• Rounding and evaluating clinical practice tomonitorpatient progress, documentation quality, adherence to trauma standards, and opportunities to improve care
• Collaborating and consulting with leaders, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to implement best practices, reduce risk, and strengthen trauma care systems
• Coordinating and tracking trauma education activities, competency validation, outreach programs, PI-related training, and loop-closure documentation
• Engaging andrepresenting the Trauma Program through community outreach, professional presentations, committee participation, and partnerships that support trauma education
