Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a PRN Trauma ICU role. You will deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, following established nursing models and standards of practice to support exceptional outcomes.

The position emphasizes rapid assessment, evidence-based care, and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures.
• Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate and customize patient treatment plans.
