Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to join our on-site team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. The role supports physicians and nurses, providing care for emergency and minor emergency patients during the night shift on a 36-hour work week.

Responsibilities include performing procedures under supervision and completing required de-escalation and safety training within 15 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EMT-B or military/clinical program alternatives at time of hire.
• Candidates with prior Sentara ED tech experience considered.
