Job summary

Sentara Health seeks an Emergency Department Technician for on-site work at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. This full-time role (36 hours per week) covers the night shift from 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM.

The incumbent will assist clinicians in delivering care, perform patient procedures under supervision, and complete required de-escalation and BLS training within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• De-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire for all incumbents.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, advanced practitioners, or nurses in implementing plans of care for emergency and minor emergency patients.
• Perform patient procedures and treatments under supervision.
